Solazone make several models of motorised domestic rollers, battery-powered for safety, to assist you to uncover your pool. These rollers make all the difference for people who regularly use swimming as a therapeutic or recreational activity, and who find it more practical having motorised power to cover and uncover the pool. Ideal for disabled, rehabilitating and elderly people, wishing to use their heated pool independently, without assistance. Our motorised rollers are powered by an extra low voltage electric motor, usually operated from a remote-control handset, like a garage door, and are perfectly safe located next to the pool. The remote-control feature can also help to create more space around an indoor heated swimming pool, by allowing the roller to be wall-mounted at the end of the pool, high enough to be out of the way. Battery recharging may be either by a small solar panel, or from the mains. Excellent results have been achieved at rehabilitation hospitals, retirement villages, health and squash centres, swim schools and private homes.
