Powersaving 12 & 24 v battery Fridges and Freezers



Frost-free upright models that run directly from your 12 or 24 volt battery bank - from 200 to 400 litre, in white or stainless steel.
Cabinets are the latest model highly efficient, Westinghouse, Electrolux or Fisher & Paykel units, completely stripped down and rebuilt by hand, using Danfoss DB50 or DB80 compressors, and low voltage defrost elements, lamps and fans.
Most of these fridge cabinets are well-made in Orange (Australia), or Auckland (New Zealand), and have superior thermal qualities.
Special provision has also been made to more efficiently remove heat from the compressor circuit, whilst ensuring minimum power use and lesser run times.
These fridges are have very low energy use, and are excellent for solar powered homes, mobile homes, houseboats and buses. For best efficiency, they need to be installed in a suitably ventilated position.
All come with a 24 month warranty.

Constructed from zinc - coated prepainted steel cabinets with increased foam thickness for greater energy efficiency.
Complete with an easy to use drain for defrosting, and they can be factory set for operation as a fridge, a fridge to sub - zero, or as a deep freezer.
Used as a fridge, they have absolutely minimal power draw.

Vaccine Units - WHO approved


These cabinets have two compartments, a vaccine refrigerator and an ice-pack freezer.
They have two Danfoss BD35F compressors and a separate thermostat for each compartment, and are therefore suitable for ice-pack freezing in mild temperate situations through to very hot desert situations. Insulation is 125 mm polyurethane foam all round.
