Solar Salesperson

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Sales Professional for the Sunshine Coast region, based out of the Marcoola office. Reporting to the General Manager, your key objective will be to drive the growth of sales and profitability across the region.

Responsibilities will be:

  • develop and maintain a customer database
  • source and develop client referrals
  • generate leads and pursue new business opportunities
  • developing our sales and customer support plans
  • prepare sales action plans and schedules
  • assisting customers to purchase solar equipment
  • plan and conduct direct marketing activities and developing product marketing aids
  • make sales calls to new and existing clients
  • maintain sales activity records and reports
  • present sales contracts
The successful applicant will be an experienced sales professional, with a proven track record in technical sales and product support and in achieving sales targets.

Must have a current driver's licence and good negotiation and communication skills.

Solar Equipment installer
We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Professional Serviceman to service new and existing customers, to manage the service division, and to develop the installation team.

Reporting to the General Manager, your key objective will be to develop our service and customer support plans, and implement efficient installation strategies. This role involves all levels of customer negotiations, developing our product installation systems, and establishing clear and accurate metrics, and including invoicing procedures.

The successful applicant will be experienced in installation and maintenance of solar swimming pool systems, solar hot water, and solar power, with a proven track record in technical service and product support.
The position requires a current drivers licence, good work ethic, lateral thinking, commonsense, and good workplace organisation and people skills.

This job entails all aspects of assisting customers to obtain solar equipment that suits their needs. This includes assessing customers needs, offering solutions, maintaining spare parts supplies and new installation stock, ordering customers equipment, and arranging delivery and installations.
