These Marlec 2D Lights are made in England, and feature a Thorn 2D fluorescent tube which gives almost the light output of a 100 watt globe but uses only 15 watts of power. It has been found to be really effective in situations, for example, in a caravan over the dining table, where good clear light is required for many hours at a time, without the light being too glary close up, or the light fitting protruding too low over the table.
These lights give a good long service life, have an on/off switch on the side, and are very suitable for use in mobile situations where they seem to be unaffected by vibrations and bumpy roads.

Labcraft 2D lights are now supplied in a tough vandal-resistant opal plastic surface-mount light with a white toggle switch on one side. We have found them to be ideal for nature-loo composting toilet enclosures for remote sites because of their durability, great light output, and reliability. |

This stand alone solar powered bollard is ideal for applications where there is sunlight all day, yet the area is dark at night, and where it is difficult or unacceptable to dig up the existing paving to install electrical wires.

Solar powered pavers are solid pavers containing solar cells and coloured leds that automatically switch on at dusk.
