Solar Powered Pool Filtration System


Solazone's solar powered pool filtration system is ideal for swimming pools, fish hatcheries and aquaponics farms to run independent of the 240 volt power supply.

Once installed, there are NO running costs.




Successfully trialled in remote locations, this stand-alone swimming pool filtration system does not draw power from the existing household supply. The solar filtration system runs completely independently, starts at first light every day, and runs all day without any energy costs at all.
There are no batteries to maintain or replace - the only maintenance is to keep the pump strainer clear and occasionally clean the solar panel glass, and backwash the filter. An extra advantage is that a Solazone low back pressure polypipe solar heating system may be added after the filter, so that the water can also be heated, at the same time, using the same pump.

The Solazone filtration system can also be supplied without the solar panels, frame and pump maximizer, to run directly off an existing household 24 volt battery bank.

Price for this kit, which includes filter, pump, valves and safety switches is $ 3000

The filter pump, in this case, may be operated manually, or by using a Plasmatronics PL series regulator, and a suitable 24 volt relay and fuse.

The first ozone water purification plant for human consumption was built in Nice, France in 1906

Ozone is a very powerful oxidiser

Ozone has the advantage of being healing to damaged skin, and will not cause allergies, dry skin, or hair discolouration.

Airstone Diffuser:
The Spazone 24 Hour Ozone System utilizes an economical air pump located inside the unit combined with the most efficient airstone diffuser available ensuring optimum ozone aeration and a low maintenance life with minimum running costs.

 684 Mazzei Injector & SM 959 Pump

For larger spas and small pools, the 24 Hour Deluxe System with SM 959 water pump features a turnover rate of 1000 litres per hour and ensures ozone is circulated throughout the entire spa.
This ensures there are no 'dead' spots in the spa that do not get sufficient ozone treatment, when the spa pump is only operating for short or irregular periods.




Del Ozone Corona Discharge Ozone Systems
- for water of unmatched clarity and purity

Corona Discharge ozone generators produce far more ozone than comparably sized UV ozone generators.
The DELZONE ECLIPSE line of CD ozone generators produce up to 5 times the concentration of ozone produced by a UV generator.
These Eclipse units produce ozone concentrations reaching 1,350 ppm, while UV generators typically top at about 550 ppm.

The DELZONE Eclipse 1 - 4 units are for in - ground pools with water capacities up to 100,000 litres.

The DELZONE ECLIPSE line of CD ozone generators are ideally suited to swim schools and pools with high bather load, indoor pools, and pools where swimming instructors are spending many hour immersed. The difference experienced by pool owners and swimming instructors, in terms of water quality, improved effect on the skin, reduction of chemical use and less need for water replacement and shock treatment, are common comments when we install ozone systems.

Overseas, ozone is the main sanitation system used in most commercial pools.

These units install easily into new or existing pools, and are supplied as 'Plug & Play' (includes injector by-pass manifold). Each system is supplied with a chlorine tablet feeder, to provide a chlorine residual in the pool water.Alternatively, a liquid chemical feeder may be installed to provide automatic dosing and monitoring.

An optional Degas Vessel is available for more efficient mixing, and to degass surplus ozone. This unit also eliminates the microfine bubble stream into the pool, and destroys surplus ozone where the ozone unit has been oversized to cope with heavy bather loads.

Solar-powered Salt Chlorinators



Solazone now provide solar-powered salt chlorinators for swimming pools.

The new models are designed to run directly from the solar panels and have no running costs.

The real advantage of this system is that your pool will always be chlorinated whilst the pool filtration system is running. If you are using the Solazone Solar Filtration system, the pool pump, salt chlorinator and solar heating system all run from the same solar array.
