Solar Powered Backpack  This black nylon backpack has an inbuilt solar panel with all of the connections to charge a mobile phone, MP3 player, etc. The solar panel charges a small battery pack (included), with a lead that connects to phones and / or MP3 players. New Solar Lantern  This neat solar lantern has it's own 2.5 watt folding solar panel to recharge the battery. Features a bright white compact fluorescent light. Comes complete with car charger and 240 volt charger. Suncharga 100 w This is a new product from Solazone. Two Schott 50 watt solar panels are used to produce this Suncharga that was specifically designed for running fridges in the outback. Following on from the successful launch of the Suncharga 80 last month, the Suncharga 100 was developed to give even more power to those staying outdoors. Solar security light  Just arrived this week ! This movement-sensor solar powered security light operates any time it is dark, and the movement sensor detects the presence of a person or animal. The light is totally independent, and is easily mounted on any surface with two screws. The solar panel mounting hinges to face the sun, regardless of how it is mounted. The light is quite bright, and is a 6-LED spot light. The body of the light is available in white or black. |
Solazone participated in the recent World Environment Day at Eumundi in S.E. Queensland. Judging by the comments passed by some of the attendees, this was a great day, enjoyed by all. Congratulations to the organisers and the great team of volunteers, who put in an immense effort to ensure the Maroochy Shire had a good display of sustainable living ideas.
