Solar Pool Heating - Do It Yourself - Design & installation of your own pool heating system
Short 3-night and one saturday part time course, held over 2 weeks, teaches you how to design, correctly size and safely install your own solar pool heating system. Students get to design a solar pool heating system, suited to their own situation, and can purchase suitable materials, to install their own system, with supervision, during and after the course. Certificate upon completion.

Composting toilets - which to choose & how to install
Short evening course for the owner - builder. Course teaches selection criteria for composting toilets, types and models available, suitable installation methods, and discussion of problems that have been encountered, and their solutions.
Duration: 3 hours. Course notes supplied that give diagrams & full details of installing composting toilets.

Career Courses
Design & installation of Solar Pool Heating systems - (traineeship)
Theory with practical experience, for those wishing to work professionally installing solar pool heating systems.
Incudes design of different types and profiles of solar collectors for different roofs, safe working practices, connection to filtration pipework, automatic control systems, pump selection and correct fitting of valves.
Certificate of competency upon completion. Ongoing installation work may be available for suitable graduates.

Professional Selling & Installing Pool blankets and Rollers
Theory with practical experience, for those wishing to work professionally selling and installing pool blanket & roller systems.
Teaches applications & benefits of pool covers, the different types available, measuring and installing, care and maintenance, assembly and installation of different types of rollers.
Certificate of competency upon completion.

Design & Installation of a stand-alone solar power system
Supervised practical training and on site experience for provisionally accredited renewable energy certificate graduates, who wish to gain further experience, and a supervised case study for full accreditation for installation of solar power systems.
